LAYC took a deputation to the March meeting of the Education, Children and Families Committee to raise concerns about the Small Grants Report which saw very few smaller community based groups benefits from the 11 grants awarded.

The Committee agreed to review the small grants programme alongside the ‘lessons learnt’ from the main grants programme which is to be considered by reconvening the elected members working group which LAYC is seeking a place on.
