The Rising Tide of Child Poverty- Working in Partnership to support children and families:  The 1 in 5: Raising Awareness of Child Poverty Project invites colleagues from education, social care, health and the third sector to its annual conference which this year will focus on partnership working which is a key priority in theory, policy and practice related to reducing child poverty, mitigating the broader impacts and closing the poverty related attainment gap. As 1 in 5 enters its 4th year, many schools have now embedded the training, workshops and poverty proofing practices whilst others are only just starting up. This conference will be an opportunity to take stock of how far 1 in 5 has come as well as explore across sectors how we, as a City, can continue to work together to address child poverty head on.
